Nanometer-Scale Patterning on PMMA Resist by Force Microscopy Lithography
Nanoscale science and technology has today mainly focused on the fabrication of nano devices. In this paper, we study the use of lithography process to build the desired nanostructures directly. Nanolithography on polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) surface is carried out by using Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) equipped with silicon tip, in contact mode. The analysis of the results shows that the ...
متن کاملAsynchronous Large-Scale Graph Processing Made Easy
Scaling large iterative graph processing applications through parallel computing is a very important problem. Several graph processing frameworks have been proposed that insulate developers from low-level details of parallel programming. Most of these frameworks are based on the bulk synchronous parallel (BSP) model in order to simplify application development. However, in the BSP model, vertic...

متن کاملNanolithography made from water-based spin-coatable LSMO resist
A dual functional and water soluble spin-coatable lanthanum strontium manganese oxide (LSMO) resist has been developed that consists of lanthanum nitrate, strontium nitrate, manganese nitrate, polyvinyl alcohol and water. Energetic nitrates plus polyvinyl alcohol fuel promote autoignition and produce nanopatterns (<60 nm) upon mild electron beam exposure (<2 mC cm−2). The formation of cubic per...
متن کاملLarge-scale characterization of Mandarin pronunciation errors made by native speakers of European languages
In this work, we quantify common tonal and phonetic errors made by second language learners of Mandarin Chinese. Pronunciation patterns of 300 native speakers of European languages are analyzed. Tonal errors (30.56%) are found to be more prevalent than phonetic ones (8.71%). Common errors include overemphasis of Tone 3 and inadequate aspiration of affricate consonants. Decision tree clustering ...
